207 - What did we miss?

Selezen25 April 2008

Explanation time. So how much time did pass whilst everyone was in Toonspace?

I'll tell you. 3 months. When the comic unpaused (when the Gygax memorial strip went live), three months of backdated time suddenly caught up. That's why Tim says that everything seemed to go quite quickly...

I was going to say all that in dialogue, but it's not important to the story, really, and let's face it that's what the news post is for!!

SelezenForum problems (28 April 2008)

It's just been brought to my attention (thanks Calibur and Marneus) that the forums are borked. This is due to a failed update from PHPBB 3.0.0 to PHPBB 3.0.1.

I've had a look, and it seems that the update process stalled before the last stage. I've ran the final update and everything seems to be working again.

Go for the forum, peeps!

Well, at least it beats us having to sit through weeks of a 'Boston Legal'-type storyline watching Tim & Simon lose their store's lease. What a great time saver!

Nice to know what happened. I like the association between the time actually speeding up to catch up and Tim saying it went quickly.
