 01 July 2008Woohoo! New job today! I'm working for a company that makes laser measuring devices for the rail network, and I'm looking after the software that turns that data into charts, graphics and useful information! Great stuff! Sadly, more woes with the laptop! Looks like the power supply is now feeling its age. The cable is starting to split at the transformer and it's making a very unhealthy fizzing noise sometimes. I broke the power supply case and resolderd the wires. This is because I am cheap and can do that kind of fix. Replacement power supply should be about 80 bucks. |
