 28 April 2009Bring them down to size, I say! Ubergamers are a fact of life. No matter how small the town you live and play in, there will be this guy. He has to smash your army. He has to stomp all over them. He has to obliterate every last piece and humiliate you into the bargain. No matter how long it takes and no matter how narked you get. Wouldn't you have just loved Osmond to appear from nowhere and mutter "you viscious bastard" in an ominously quiet voice. I have to admit that this joke is stolen from The Mary Whitehouse Experience - a satirical sketch show from the early 90s. If you can find it, I recommend giving it a try. Sadly it's one of those things that has never been repeated (to my knowledge) and isn't available on DVD. Boo. |
