Landed at Tontouta, New Caledonia (2107hrs)
It took a hell of a long time to get here, primarily because I had wanted to take a
route over the South Pole and not fly across the Pacific. Unfortunately, it seems that
FS2002 doesn't handle the transition across the pole too well, so I turned the bird around
and headed north-west. This was the closest Pacific island that had a decent
length landing strip.
This marked the beginning of what turned out to be a really nice scenic trip across the Pacific
Ocean.
