Ooh, the drama... ;-)

Finally! Back to three panel layouts. I'm also starting to use PNG files as the images now, since they are all-powerful.

Major thing to announce this week is that I've been a smart-arse again with the comic site code. I've written banner adverts into it, so that anyone can advertise anything they like on the site. All you have to do is get in touch, provide a 468x60 banner image and some idea of what you are advertising and I'll put the banner into the mix! What the site then does is pick a banner at random and show it! A new banner comes up everytime the page is refreshed! At the moment there are five banners there, but with YOUR help, we could have loads!!

Why have I done this? Well, it was always my plan to put banner ad facilities into the aspToon app, and the reason I finally got round to it is that I was fed up of seeing the Penny and Aggie banner from the banner exchange - it's the only one I've ever seen!!

In other news, it's looking like the forum may be causing issues with my hosting again. I'm running on a Windows based server, and phpBB is based on Linux technology. It looks like there may be some memory management problems with php on Windows IIS servers, so I'm having it looked into as you read this. It could even be a problem with running php on IIS servers. I'll keep you posted.

Just in case the site vanishes, look for me on the Turn Signals forums - with Steve's permission I'll try to let everyone know what's happening...
