15 July 2008 230 - Safe on the beach? |
15 July 2008
It's in the news a lot these days - keep yourself sun safe and avoid skin conditions. Not that there's been much of the sun to look at so far this year. Maybe 5 minutes between rain storms... Speaking as someone whose wife has recently just got over skin cancer (Basal cell carcinoma, to be exact) I can't stress enough how important it is to keep an eye on your skin. Watch out for moles or raised areas of skin especially with darkened patches! Public service announcement over. Thanks again to all you guys out there who have donated. Another two donations have been gratefully received this week!! With a bit of luck and another couple of donations I might be able to sort out the motherboard situation. If I can free up some cash from the monthly budget (what with my pay rise and all) then I can donate to myself too!! :-) Seriously though, thanks - and especially to Chris! I think he may have a page to himself on the comic site at some point - three donations!! Work on the 3D sets is coming along slowly - that's the big problem with the new job - less time to work on graphics! The main issue is the travel times. By the time I get back and get everything sorted out it's quite late. Despite all that I've set myself a deadline now...enjoy the BB vacation! |
