14 April 2009
This is something that worries me a lot. I know a lot of people at work and other places that I get on with and have known for a long while, but I know very little about them outside the confines of our actual relationships. It's always on my mind that if I make a casual joke about someone's family (such as "that's what your mum said last night when I left the money") then it would be just my luck that the aforementioned family member would be dead/disabled/actually a prostitute or something like that. It does make me think twice about the constant flow of jokes I seem to come out with before I think... |

It's the poor man's wit. |
