24 July 2007 128 - He's here! |
24 July 2007
I'm off to Legoland Windsor today. If the country isn't too flooded. I'll tell you - if we get rained out, I'll not be happy. And that's nothing compared to how the lad will take it. There'll be a short angry Scotsman rampaging through Derby... However, that said, my heart goes out to the thousands of people who have lost thier belongings and often their homes due to this unpleasant crisis. The question has to be asked though: when the weather report contains a severe weather warning or a flood warning, what are people supposed to do? Is it just for information or is there some sort of procedure to follow in these events? No-one seems to know. |
