Why put a CV online?
Well, it's a personal website, so it should have something personal on it. The best way to summarise a person is by using a CV.
Well, that's my opinion anyway.
Another reason is that if I have a central, easily updatable version of my CV that I can access from anywhere then it might be easier for me if I need to lay my hands on it. Who knows, maybe NASA or the Secret Service might need someone with my exact skillset someday, and Google could provide!
It also lets me access and show off my CV from any web-enabled device - since nearly everything apart from my watch has a web browser in it these days, an online version is a sensible step.
