Only four days to go until the Kickstarter finishes, but we've achieved the target! The RPG rulebook looks like it will be funded. I have a fantastic and fun-filled year ahead of me and I'm looking forward to it greatly.
During the Kickstarter I've been using the updates and comments there to post blog type stuff, so this website has been sadly neglected after the initial push to get it launched. After the Kickstarter I'll probably follow the same model as Drew and publish ...

It's only three and a half days into the campaign and the project has been two-thirds funded!
£3,500 in the pot and climbing - that's 66% of the target. That's more that I could ever have hoped. Time to start refining and publishing the stretch goals, I think.
The support has been immense. Even outside the actual campaign, I'm getting contacted about lots of different aspects of the project that I hadn't thought would be brought up as soon - marketing companies, ...

The Kickstarter launched at 10:24pm. Nerves, I have them.
I posted earlier on one of the forums I use that this has been kind of a dream of mine, and it's true. I'm just realising, hard on the heels of the surreality of being asked to help with the official Elite: Dangerous writer's bible, that this is another Elite-related thing I've wanted to do for decades.

Well, that's the Kickstarter campaign submitted. Just waiting for either approval or rejection now.

I think I've done a good enough job of putting together a campaign, I just have to hope now that I will be able to post good enough updates.
I have no doubt about my ability to put together a roleplaying game, but everything hangs off the Kickstarter - if that fails, then the rest of it doesn't matter.

This website is the home for the Elite: Dangerous RPG.
The game will hopefully be crowdfunded through Kickstarter. I'm just waiting on the green light from Frontier Developments to ensure that the terms and pledges of the kickstarter are suitable for the development plan for Elite: Dangerous and then I'll submit the Kickstarter campaign for approval then...LAUNCH!
